Welcome! My name is Mrs Susan Chambers and I am a qualified Cert.Ed., GTC registered teacher who can help your child to realise their full educational potential and to increase their standards for the SATS tests, common entrance exams and specific school entry examinations. I am fully Police checked, (CRB), and my certificates are always available for inspection.  I will tutor in any subject in Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 including French. I will also tutor in Maths, English and French up to GCSE.   I am fully conversant with the QCA Standards schemes of work and the new Frameworks.  I regularly go into local schools on a supply basis so I am kept up to date with what is happening in the classrooms these days!  I teach at my home in a relaxed separate teaching area which is equipped with full network access so I can incorporate modern technology into your child's individual learning plan!

Finally, following the Government's decision, on 18th June 2010, to allow funding for parents,teachers and charities to set up their own "free schools", I can offer my services in a consultancy capacity or as a subject teacher.
